I am football mad, and have been supporting Liverpool FC since I was ten years old (back in the Spice Boys days with Jason McAteer and his Wash & Go adverts).
I like to write about football because I am so passionate about it. It’s a cliche, but I do sleep and breathe football, to the point where some people have questioned my gender (I really am a girl though – I cry at chick flicks and enjoy wine and chocolate as much as any other woman).
I have a first class degree in Media and Communication (Journalism) and an MA with Distinction in Media and Creative Enterprise. I’m from Dudley, so I have quite a prominent Black Country accent (more prominent than Lenny Henry’s, believe me).
